Sue Berk

Board of Directors

Sue Berk was born and raised in Honolulu. She graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy and the University of Hawaii and earned a graduate certificate in Organization Change from Hawaii Pacific University.

Now happily retired, Sue previously served as Executive Director of Sales & Service for the Consumer Market at Hawaiian Telcom directing activities in Call Center Operations and Retail Stores.

In 2017, she co-founded the Fuller Lives organization, a 501c3, which advocates for suitable housing options in Hawaii for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. She currently serves as President of the organization.

Sue and her husband, Brent, have two grown children. Their daughter lives in Mililani with her husband and their three young daughters. Their son Brett, age 34, lives at home. Brett has Down Syndrome and is currently a happy participant in Easterseals Hawaii’s Adult Day Program in Honolulu. He loves the staff and time with his buddies. He has participated in Easterseals Hawaii programs since he was four months old including the Early Intervention, Keiki/Toddler Program and After School Programs.

Sue is a past two-term member of the Easterseals Hawaii Board of Directors and served on the Program Committee. She is enthusiastic about joining the board once again.
