Alexis Charpentier, MPH, is a Director for the Early Intervention Program at Easterseals Hawaii. She brings more than 15 years of experience in public health, healthcare leadership and community-based services.

Before joining Easterseals Hawaii, Alexis served as Chief Executive Officer of Waikīkī Health, where she led a federally qualified health center providing comprehensive healthcare services to communities across Oʻahu. Previously, she served as Director of Prevention at the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors in Washington, D.C., and as HIV Intervention Services Supervisor and Epidemiological Specialist IV with the Hawaii Department of Health.

Alexis has been recognized nationally and locally for her leadership in public health. She was awarded a Bloomberg Fellowship in 2020 and named one of the de Beaumont Foundation’s 40 Under 40 Public Health Innovators in 2021. In 2022, she was selected as an Association of State and Territorial Health Officials Diverse Executives Leading in Public Health Scholar. Her recent honors include the 2025 Pacific Edge Magazine Businesswomen Honoree, 2025 Pacific Business News 40 Under 40, and 2025 PBN Power Leader.

Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Portland and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Born and raised in Kāneʻohe, Hawaii, Alexis is proud to serve Hawaii’s families and communities. In her free time, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, singing karaoke and spending quality time with family and friends.
