During a heartfelt evening at the historic Hawaii Theatre, guests from across Oahu came together to celebrate and support Easterseals Hawaii—enjoying live music from The Green and Kawika Kahiapo while embracing the spirit of aloha and inclusion.
With over 600 people in attendance, the energy was alive – and we have our guests, sponsors, performers and participants to thank!
The evening was filled with moments of impact that drove Easterseals Hawaii’s mission home, from watching several participants in ESH’s adult program perform a special hula on stage alongside Kawika Kahiapo’s ‘Hawaiian Lullaby’, to honoring Marty Hodgett for his long-time support of the organization. Our emcees for the evening, Jennifer Robbins and Dillon Ancheta, brought unparalleled energy and enthusiasm for both the music and the mission. The night was capped by a crowd-pleasing finale with The Green and Kawika Kahiapo covering ‘3 Little Birds’ by Bob Marley as the audience held their glowsticks high in the air.
The event raised over $190,000 with all proceeds going to benefit the organization in providing high-quality and life-changing services and programs to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. Easterseals Hawaii’s unique approach to care is made possible thanks to the support we receive across the state.
