Manager, Office of Risk Management
We are currently looking for a dynamic person to take on a role of the Manager, Office of Risk Management. The successful candidate will have five years of experience in overseeing risk management efforts in the healthcare setting and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.The Manager, Office of Risk Management (“ORM”), is responsible for assisting with the risk and compliance oversight activities of Easterseals Hawaii, which supports the Vision, Values and Mission of Easterseals. The Manager, ORM, will work under the direction of the Director, Privacy Program, Easterseals Bay Area, to assist with maintaining compliance with Easterseals Hawaii policies, client safety, client and family services and care, and risk program. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and deepen your knowledge of developing, growing and managing a privacy, compliance and risk program.Travel is an essential part of the job to ensure the development of close, strategic and collaborative relationships across all Easterseals Hawaii locations and to attend Easterseals Bay Area meetings in California. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s degree or JD preferred. Minimum five years in healthcare privacy, compliance or risk management working with state and federal compliance laws and regulations, or auditing.Certification in Compliance, Privacy or Risk Management; or attained within six months.
Senior Project Manager - Real Estate and Facilities
This role will ensure optimal functioning of all building systems, office spaces, and clinical facilities throughout the Easterseals Hawaii organization, including coordination with ESH staff, landlords, and government agencies. Incumbent will allocate office and therapy space as appropriate, and source and purchase necessary supplies, furniture, and equipment within budget to maintain a safe and cohesive appearance of all building spaces; serve as first point of contact for Property Management partners and other vendors, and will often lead and direct the work of others, including outside vendors, contractors, and tradespeople for projects, necessary repairs or building issues; manage workplace safety procedures and processes. The Sr. Project Manager will also provide support for important deliverables and input including office safety, emergency actions plans, clinical compliance, building maintenance, space planning and high level customer service standards. Additionally, the role requires ability to coordinate basic design and construction projects as need in multiple Facilities on four separate islands. Requirements: BA/BS in facility management, business administration or relevant field, or equivalent; 5+ years proven facility management experience; 3 to 5 years experience managing site remodels and new build constructions.
Clinical Supervisor/Behavior Analyst, BCBA
This position provides services and clinical support for children and adolescents, diagnosed with ASD and other related developmental disabilities within a center-based clinic, school, home and/or community setting for clients ages 2-21. Responsible for supervision of behavior therapist level personnel; performing assessments and intakes and support of various activities requiring knowledge in behavior analysis. Requires a Master’s or Doctorate degree in related field; at least two years of BCBA certification; 5 years’ experience in the field of Behavior Analysis, and two years supervision of at least 10 behavior therapists/technicians/tutors.
Registered Behavior Technician/Therapist
Provides direct intervention services to children diagnosed with Autism and other related developmental disabilities. Position is under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Behavior Analyst. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent; we cover the cost of coursework and training towards RBT ( Registered Behavior Therapist) certification. Valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to various parts of the island is required.
The Program Manager coordinates all components of a developmental, educational, and therapeutic program for children with special needs from birth to three years of age and their families. This position is directly responsible for daily operations of the program, including personnel supervision, coordination of direct services, program planning, and implementation of policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in education, special education or health related field (Master’s degree preferred); 4 years of progressive experience working with persons with disabilities, with 3 years in a management/supervisory role. Experience working with children with special needs in the field or early intervention preferred.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, this position provides occupational therapy services to children from 0 to 3 years old with special needs. Experience working with children in the field of early intervention preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required and must be a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) by the American Occupational Therapy Association.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, this position provides speech-language therapy services, apply principles and practices to children with special needs, and promote optimum speech language development. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent and license to provide speech language therapy in Hawaii required. Experience working with children with special needs in the field of Early Intervention preferred.
Social Worker/ Care Coordinator
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, this position provides immediate interim and ongoing culturally competent, family-centered care coordination services for infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. Experience working with families who have children with special needs in the field of early intervention preferred. Minimum of Bachelor's degree in social science or education field.
Special Education Teacher
Hilo (FT), Kailua (FT)
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, this position provides support to families using a Primary Service Provider model and evidence-based coaching techniques. This position is under the direct supervision of the Early Intervention Program Manager. Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education required; Master's of Special Education preferred. One year minimum experience working as a special educator and experience working with children with special needs in the field of early intervention strongly preferred.
Hilo (FT), Honolulu (FT)
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, this position provides support to families using a Primary Service Provider model and evidence-based coaching techniques. Provides physical therapy services, applying principles and practices to children with special needs, to promote optimum gross motor skills development. Bachelor’s degree and license to provide physical therapy in Hawaii required, experience in pediatrics and/or with children preferred.
Home & Community Based Services
Program Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations and management of a Home and Community Based Services Waiver Program, including programmatic, fiscal, contractual, facility, personnel, fundraising, and best practice compliance. Facilitates and promotes the growth of the program, staff and individual program participants, in a safe and positive learning environment. Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Program Development. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field; 3-5 years of progressive experience working with persons with developmental disabilities; 3+ years in direct managerial/supervisory role; working knowledge of the Medicaid Waiver.
Assistant Program Manager
Assistant Program Manager directly assists with the management of the HCBS Adult Day Healthe (ADH) Waiver program, including overall fiscal, legal, and precedural compliance and the daily service operations. Facilitates and promotes the growth of the program and the individual program participants in a safe and positive learning environment. Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager of HCBS. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a field of human services; four years of progressive experience working with persons with developmental disabilities with two years in managerial/supervisory role.
Case Coordinator maintains a caseload of participants in our Adult Day Health program and support services for 15-20 participants; provides assistance and coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities to meet goals and outcomes that increase their independence, develop natural supports and friendships, and ability to contribute to society; and coaches these individuals in a variety of life skills, including socialization, communication, and money management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in working with people with Developmental Disabilities
